EcoAlpha organized cleanup activities at Corcoran Lions Park to help keep the local park clean, safe, and welcoming for community members. Youth volunteers worked together to pick up litter, remove debris, and improve the appearance of shared outdoor spaces. Through this hands-on service project, participants learned that protecting the environment begins with small, direct actions in their own communities.
The Corcoran Lions Park cleanups gave EcoAlpha members an opportunity to practice teamwork, leadership, and environmental stewardship. By caring for a public park, youth volunteers helped raise awareness about the importance of reducing litter and respecting natural spaces. The project also showed how community service can inspire young people to take responsibility for the places they live, play, and gather.
