EcoAlpha served as Zero Waste Ambassadors at Mall of America, the largest mall in the United States, delivering a high-visibility public education outreach in a busy, diverse community setting. By meeting people where they already gather families, youth, and visitors from many backgrounds. EcoAlpha created an approachable, welcoming space for quick learning, conversation, and positive action around waste reduction.
Through interactive games and hands-on activities, EcoAlpha educated visitors about sustainability and helped participants practice practical, everyday decisions such as avoiding single-use items, reducing waste at the source, and improving recycling habits. The game-based format made sustainability memorable and fun, sparked cross-generational conversations, and encouraged immediate steps visitors could take at home, at school, and in their communities to reduce waste.
