EcoAlpha youth volunteers participated in a meal-packing event with Feed My Starving Children, working side by side to measure ingredients, seal packages, label boxes, and prepare nutritious meals for children experiencing hunger around the world. Through teamwork and dedication, the group packed 4,968 meals—enough to provide approximately 13 children with one meal every day for an entire year. The activity showed the youth how many small individual efforts can come together to create a meaningful global impact. 

The experience helped participants better understand the challenges of global hunger and the importance of supporting communities beyond their own. As they worked together, the youth strengthened their teamwork, leadership, and commitment to service while recognizing that everyone can contribute to positive change. The activity inspired EcoAlpha members to continue using their time and energy to help others and build a more caring, connected, and equitable world.
