EcoAlpha organized a spring garden preparation activity at the Kang Le Adult Day Care community garden. Youth participants worked on about 30 planting beds by removing weeds, clearing old vines from trellises, loosening compacted soil, and organizing the garden beds and planting areas. Through their teamwork, the garden became cleaner, more organized, and ready for new growth in the coming planting season.
This activity not only refreshed the Kang Le Adult Day Care community garden, but also created a meaningful connection between youth and older adults. Through hands-on environmental action, EcoAlpha youth showed care for the community and demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility. The project brought youthful energy to the space while supporting EcoAlpha’s mission of building greener, healthier, and more connected communities.
