EcoAlpha youth volunteers visited a senior living community to share music, culture, and companionship with residents. The program featured a wide variety of performances, including piano, guzheng, erhu, clarinet, vocal music, and dance. Through their talents and warm interactions, the youth created a joyful atmosphere, introduced residents to different musical and cultural traditions, and built meaningful connections across generations.
In addition to performing, the youth shared EcoAlpha’s environmental message and encouraged residents to appreciate nature and take simple actions to protect the planet. By combining artistic expression, cultural traditions, and environmental advocacy, the young volunteers demonstrated that music and the arts can inspire people to care for both one another and the natural world. The event brought happiness to residents while strengthening the youths’ confidence, leadership, and commitment to community service.
