EcoAlpha co-organized a zero-waste workshop with Environmental Initiative, a non-profit organization, for Roots Rising interns. The workshop focused on practical ways young people can reduce waste at home, at school, and in their communities. Through an interactive presentation and discussion, EcoAlpha introduced everyday zero-waste practices and encouraged participants to think about how their choices can contribute to a more sustainable future. 

The workshop created an opportunity for Roots Rising interns to learn, ask questions, and explore how youth can take an active role in waste reduction and environmental stewardship. By collaborating with Environmental Initiative, EcoAlpha helped connect environmental education with youth leadership, inspiring participants to apply what they learned in their daily lives and communities.
